Leaky Pipe Repair in Gold Coast Chicago
Recently, we completed a residential plumbing job in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. The customer originally called because they had a leaking pipe behind the washer/dryer unit in their home. Also, their kitchen sink was leaking under the counter.

Upon arrival after inspection, our plumber proceeded to trace the leaking pipe. First, he removed the washer/dryer unit, and discovered water damage in the drywall. Then, our plumber proceeded to open the drywall where he discovered the source of the leak. A faulty solder joint caused the water seal to fail and leak. He repaired the copper pipe by replacing the piping and soldering the joint.
The kitchen sink was leaking from old corroded drainage piping. It was replaced accordingly to stop the leakage.
